Join us for our 2020 version of Touch-a-Truck! This event appeals to anyone, kids or adults, who love trucks, but is geared toward kids ages 2-8!
Village Utility and Public Safety departments, as well as local businesses, will bring whatever vehicles they can spare that day. In the past we have had: fire engine, water truck from a quarry, monster truck, plow truck, police command station, and a BearCat. All children who attend will receive a FREE take-home craft kit, sponsored by the Pauline Haass Public Library and Meijer. The first 300 families to attend will also receive a FREE truck book, sponsored by Monacelli Stone Company Inc.
Families are asked to keep their time at the event to 30 minutes and are to use their eyes -- and not their hands -- to view the trucks. We also ask that families keep 6 feet between themselves and others present. The ground will be marked with where to walk to view the trucks.
To participate this socially-distanced event, families must sign up ALL members of their group for FREE tickets. This will help us to regulate group size. When you arrive at your entry time, we will scan your tickets, either from your phone or printout. Sign up here.
Tickets will automatically generate in your email and CivicRec account once you complete the transaction.
