The Village of Sussex updated the Downtown Design and Development Plan and adopted the Main Street Vision and Action Strategy on July 26, 2011. The CDA held many public input sessions to generate the final Plans. The Plans are a guide for developer's as they work on their projects to help create the redevelopment of the Downtown area which is the "heart" of the Community.

The CDA will continue to make updates to the Plans over time as economic and community factors will dictate necessary adjustments.
