Home MenuPlan Commission
The typical role of the Plan Commission is to review commercial and residential plans, rezoning applications, business Plans of Operation, Conditional Use applications, and certified survey maps. The Plan Commission investigates, reviews, and ultimately recommends to the Village Board the Comprehensive Master Plan, Land Use and Zoning Maps, Planning and Development Ordinances and Standards, and land divisions that allow the Community to grow. The Plan Commission looks for the Health, Safety and Welfare of Sussex in establishing standards and reviews development activity objectively against those standards.
