The Village of Sussex Fire Department is a local
leader in providing emergency services and has 
a proud history of doing so since 1922. We are 
committed to providing high quality, essential services in our village while also assisting our neighboring fire departments and communities during their times of need through MABAS.

The members of the department are its most valuable resource. As we transition from a department of proud, committed, and capable volunteers into a combination department staffed with full and part-time members, our ability to provide you with the highest level of Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedics and fully trained and certified firefighters make the department a true example of excellence amongst all of Waukesha County emergency services. Our members work hard every day to meet the needs of the Village of Sussex residents and visitors and we strive to continue to provide superior customer service to all.
