Spooky Sussex (Presented by Lannon Stone Foundation)

  • Introduction: Spooky Sussex is a not-so-scary, family-friendly, Halloween event with activities geared for children 10 and under.

Spooky Sussex will be held rain or shine, so dress for the weather. 

Registration is required for everyone at the event except for children 2 and under. Pre-registration is STRONGLY encouraged and will be limited. 

UPDATE 10/14/2021: Pre-registration IS SOLD OUT.

The event cost is $6 for pre-registered guests and $8 for day-of-registration. Registration is not required for children 2 and under. 

Wristbands for pre-registered guests can be picked up at the Civic Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, October 18, through Thursday, October 21.

  • Haunted Hayride (pre-registered guests only)
  • Pumpkin and Pumpkin decorating kit (pre-registered guests only)
  • Caramel Apple (pre-registered guests only)
  • Balloon Creation (pre-registered guests only)
  • Wicked Woods Trail  
  • DJ
  • Petting Farm
  • Inflatable Corn Maze
  • Inflatable Haunted House
  • Games
  • Bonfire
  • Hot Cocoa and a Cookie WHILE SUPPLIES LAST provided by Quad Graphics.

*Please note that the Haunted Hayride, caramel apple, pumpkin and pumpkin decorating kit, and a balloon creation is only for pre-registered guests. 

Concessions 

Concessions will be available for purchase (cash or credit card accepted) by the Sussex Area Service Club including hamburgers, cheeseburgers, brats, hot dogs, chips, soda, and water. Rudy's Hot Nuts will also be selling kettle corn and hot nuts. 

Event Parking and Access

Event access and parking will be off Sunset Drive. Only those needing accessible or volunteer parking should enter the park from Weaver Drive.
